WCC Oval Sale Back on the agenda

The DVC are trying once again to sell the oval. At a closed meeting on Monday the majority of Councillors votes for selling the oval.
The DVC want to negotiate with the four previously unsuccessful tenderers Kalis Properties, Humana Pty Ltd (Rockefeller and Snowy Mountain Pty Ltd (Saadri Family .

THE Derwent Valley Council last week advised all tenderers that none were successful for the purchase of the Willow Court Oval and/or the buildings around the oval.

"I have conflicting feelings about the latest twist in the Willow Court story.

I have been going back through some of our old Investigation notes and forgot to mention an interesting occurrence that happened a little while a go whilst we were walking through Ring Road Royal Derwent.

On the way over there and even in fact inside several wards we didn’t get an EMF spike, however as we were walking back from Ward 7 on Ring Road ( Read more... )

I drove up to New Norfolk today and was shocked to see that Ward 7 had been reduced to nothing but a plie rubble. I think it’s kind of sad that such a building could just fall and be lost and no ones knew anything about it.
There is a big skip bin next to ward 6, so dare I say Ward 6 might be the next to suffer Ward 7 fate.
